Food & Nutrition at Little Stars Academy

Meals and snacks are an important part of a child’s day at Little Stars Academy Preschool. We aim to make mealtimes comfortable, organized and age-appropriate while helping children build positive daily routines.

Meals & Snacks

Our meal and snack routines are designed to support a comfortable and organized preschool day. Families receive information about what the school provides and what children may bring from home.

Snacks

Little Stars Academy provides two snacks during the day. Families who prefer to send a snack from home should clearly label it with their child’s name and follow the school’s current food and allergy guidelines.

Hot Lunch Program

Little Stars Academy offers a hot lunch program. Meals are prepared in-house, and families receive menu information so they can see what is being served. Please contact the school if your child has a food allergy, dietary restriction or other food-related need.

Packing Lunch From Home

If you send lunch from home, please use durable, reusable containers that your child can open and close when appropriate for their age.

Clearly label the lunch box and containers with your child’s name. Please include any utensils or beverage your child will need during the meal.

Food Allergies & Dietary Needs

Please inform Little Stars Academy about any known food allergies or dietary restrictions before your child attends.

Our team can explain the school’s current food policies and discuss your child’s individual needs with you. Please make sure the school has current and accurate information about your child’s food-related needs.

Introducing New Foods

If you plan to send a food that your child has not eaten before, please introduce it at home first. This allows families to observe how the child responds in a familiar environment.

Please inform Little Stars Academy about any food allergies, dietary restrictions or concerns before sending new food to preschool. If you are unsure whether a particular food is appropriate to bring, contact our team for guidance.
