Preschool Dress Code
Children should come to Little Stars Academy in comfortable clothing that allows them to participate in learning, play and everyday preschool activities. Because children may take part in art, outdoor play and hands-on activities, families should choose practical clothing appropriate for an active preschool day.
Comfortable Everyday Clothing
Please choose comfortable, practical clothing that allows your child to move freely and participate in classroom activities, learning experiences and active play. Clothing should be easy for your child to manage throughout the preschool day whenever possible.
Clothing for Art & Play
Preschool activities may include painting, sensory play, outdoor exploration and other hands-on experiences. We recommend choosing clothing that is easy to wash and suitable for an active preschool day.
Shoes & Safety
Children should wear footwear that allows them to walk, run and participate comfortably in indoor and outdoor activities. If you are unsure whether a particular type of footwear is appropriate, please contact the school before your child’s school day.
Extra Clothing & Personal Items
Please keep an appropriate change of clothes available for your child in case clothing becomes wet or soiled during the day. Clearly label extra clothing and personal items with your child’s name to help staff identify and return belongings. Please contact Little Stars Academy to confirm what items your child should bring.
Weather-Appropriate Clothing
Please dress your child appropriately for the day’s weather and planned activities. Depending on the season, your child may need a jacket, hat or other suitable outdoor clothing. Contact the school if you are unsure what seasonal items should be provided.
